Capybara Assignment Due: Monday (17/5/04) - Period 7 Task: Draw a labelled diagram of a capybara. A basic description of the capybara is included below to help you. Be creative and resourceful! Marks: • Will be marked out of 20 • Will contribute to your half yearly report Capybara Description: The capybara is a large rodent that lives in South America. It is about the same size as a pig and able to swim due to its webbed feet. It is covered in long brown hair and its ears, eyes and nostrils are near the top of its head. This is an advantage for the capybara because when it swims it is still able to see, smell and hear its enemies. The capybara eats different types of vegetation, like water plants and grasses.
